09/30/2005: "acoustorama"

The acoustic gig at café b yesterday went surprisingly well, Pod stepped out from behind the drum kit to play lead acoustic guitar and played many solos. We were so happy that we've agreed to play a set at an acoustic alldayer at bar vida on October 23rd, alongside such excellent talents as Frankie Machine, Mascot Fight and Ben Walker.
We're also playing at the Ponce 80s Party at the same venue a few days earlier - as I understand it, this will feature a TON of bands playing tiny 2-song 10-minute 80s cover sets. or something.

also:

* sheffield gig is now apparently at The Cricketers, and not an alldayer but three gigs spread over the weekend. we're playing the saturday... I think.

* STRESSED GIG TONIGHT AT FIRST FLOOR! WOO!

* Stressed Volume 2 - which features 'Scene But Not Heard' by us - is officially out on Monday, and will be available from Reveal Records and the Stressed website. the last one got radio play and many reviews so listen / look out!

* Sandman Nottingham featuring OUR FACES will be out soon, it's the October edition and I have no idea what it will look like. I'll try to get a scan.
